My wife and i got married in May of 2008. At this time we got all of her documentation from China and all of mine here in the USA. Her paperwork was lost and we did not find out for 8 months that it was missing. If i refile her paperwork(because i have all the originals with me) do we have to get new notorized copies of her paperwork?

At the NVC stage you will need to submit the originals or certified copies of the documents, however, you might want to check the specifics as GZU has electronic processing which is a bit different...

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

Citizenship Process;

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

the police certificate 'ages out' - anywhere from 6 months to 1 year - but is reviewed at GUZ, accepted at NVC.

You'll be OK with the rest of the documents, though.

FOR INITIAL I-130 submittal, do not submit original documents - ONLY COPIES.

She can have new police certificate made after you get NOA-2 - you'll need this new one for NVC processing (which is the next step )

NVC has electronic filing program for GUZ-bound petitions - have a read? -> http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...onic_Processing

Sorry USCIS lost it, but hei - now ya know something, right? Good Luck with the new submittal.

You might want to front-load the petition - this is what I did - have a read? -> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry3324240

FOR NOW - you don't have to wait on anything, for documents, to submit a new I-130 - the police certificate will need to be made again, but you've got some time to do that, after you file the I-130.

GOOD LUCK !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
