For the people who went to an early biometrics, does it matter what time of the day you go? Does it usually matter?

The USCIS support center is not far from our house so it's not an inconvience. I'll let everyone know how it is when my husband goes.

We arrived at biometrics 30 mins. early, we went through right away without any question, i dont know if that will matters. And it lasted only 15 mins. really fast.

Same here... I arrived 45 minutes early and I went through just fine.

I mean that my huband's biometrics appointment is in 2 weeks, but since he's on vacation this week it'd be better for him to go now.

Can he just show up any time this week and expect (possibly) to be allowed to have his fingerprints taken?

Nice to see that you finally got your bio appointment!!! I went early for my bio appointment and posted a brief description ok my early Bio experiacne on the December filers thread.

Good luck with you early Bio attempt. Two tips I would offer would be:

1. Make sure that you arrive at the office early and I would go in the morning, preferably go in the morning before they get busy. (I arrived 1 hour before they opened)

2. make sure that you dont have any marks or scars on your fingers that would distort your finger prints. (I was about to go and work on my car and a VJ gave me that tip)

So does this mean he could potentially be approved quicker (maybe wishful thinking since we DID file with VSC)? I noticed that a couple hours after he finished his biometrics our case was touched.

I never knew that you can go at an earlier date as compared to the date and time which is given to you, other wise I would have gone too... I was done in 15 mins... They made me fill out a form, a lady checked the notice and a my original GC as a proof of Photo ID and I was done.

I didn't know you could just walk in until I read that a number of VJers had done it. I wish we had known that for AOS.

Our account was touched again, but as I see few VSC September filers being approved yet, I won't get my hopes up.

I doubt it. USCIS will process applications in the order they receive them (as they claim) which has been showing that it is not the case especially the month of August, where the approvals began for filers at the end of the month instead of the beginning.

Agreed. I don't believe much of what USCIS says as far as who they approve and when.

I also think that VSCers have to wait longer since there are more of us. Oh well, at least we have the extension letter.
