X-ray???

At which point will my fiancee's X-ray be needed? can she pack this in her check-in bag ( not the carry on) ?

I can't recall reading about anyone being asked to produce their X-ray at a POE (or really, anytime after that either). (Obviously its something you want to hang on to.)

Karin rolled hers up, stuffed it in a shipping tube and put it in her checked bag(s).

What I was told by a consulate officer was that you won't need it at POE unless you are entering the US from Hawaii or Guam.

I packed my x-ray in the check-in bag and had no problem.

Correct as my wife had pack it in her baggage and they made her get it at Honolulu. No idea what they do with it.

No biggy anymore as the xray is on a CD disc now.

Bring it anyway. I placed mine in my check-in laguage, no problem at all.
