How long before a K-visa expires?

Timeline

Usually 6 months from the date it is issued it must be used... then there is 90 days from the date of entry...

After receiving a K-Visa, after the consular interview, do you need to move to the U.S. within a certain amount of time? Can the visa recipient linger in Canada and tie up loose ends or do they need to haul ####?

up to but not later than 6 mos. from visa issuance. A visa expiry date will be listed on the visa itself and you must present yourself at the border on or before that date

I lingered to tie up loose ends two days before my visa expiry. Then I hauled ####. :)
