Does anyone know if there is a right or wrong when it comes to the finish of the passport photos-

No where on the usa gov website does it say glossy or matte?

Has anyone used matte? Has it caused issues?

THANKS!!!

No mention of what type of finish is preferred, if you have not done it go for glossy (more common) if you did matte don't stress.

If you are talking about the photos included with the I-129f, the instructions say "The photos must have a white background, be glossy, un-retouched and not mounted."

In that case disregard my opinion! I truly did not see it on the pdf document, and could not edit my post to avoid other making the same mistake
