Hi all,

So its the 7 to 10 days before our interview and my fiance is turning in our documents to the VFS office. I thought we had run out of questions but apparently there will always be more. lol. Is the 131.00 fee due on the day of your interview or do you pay that when you present your documents to the VFS? Also are we supposed to submit our proof of relationship to the VFS as well or does he take that with him to the interview? help!!

The visa fee is due at the day of interview. He pays this before he goes in for his interview that day. Yes, you should submit all your evidence at VFS. Sometimes they will not accept it and it depends on which VFS office you go to. When my fiance went to VFS in Mumbai they took everything accept the affidavit of support and evidence of relationship. They told him to bring all that during the day of his interview. It really depends on the VFS officer and the location you go to.

Gather up all the proof of relationship, even a stack of emails, and then if you are lucky, they won't even want to look at it and you did it all for nothing. But if you didn't gather it all up, then they will want to see it. That's how things work.

Like a car I had, I had a fire extinguisher in my car for years and never had a fire, but took it out one day and then I had a fire with no fire extinguisher. See how things work.
