Evidence of Relationship?

hello All, this is My first post, and this seems to exact place to ask this questions. Okay here is the situation, While I was a student back in US I met this girl and after a relationship of a about 5 months or so we got involved, I came back after finishing my education, But we are still much into each other, Now we will be filing k1 in feb or so, however for evidence of relationbship, We just have Emails, Chats and 2 photos we took at some places, along with phone records and thats it.

I have also rent-a-car agreement but its on my name since she had lost her wallet before we rent the car, so will this be enough evidence ? Also can we take written evidence from third party people, who know us and seen us together ???

You only need evidence showing you met in person in the last 2 years. Evidence of having a bonafide relationship comes into play at your interview.

Save all your past and future communication records.

You should plan on making another trip and get more photos of you, her and her family.

the pics we took have dates on them for this august and ticket stub from place has the following number like 3 and 4 , will that do? and I have pic of her with her mom! ? how about that ?

Yeah I've seen it done and you couldn't tell the difference.

2 photos we took at some places

That will work for the initial petition showing you met in person. Won't help much for showing a bonafide relationship at the interview.

In fact with my case we were denied and only had 2 pictures also. They specifically stated it was from lack of photos with me, her, her friends and her family.

Best to make another trip.

People are always saying pictures are secondary. I call BS on that.

Second time I loaded up with pictures and flew thru interview, AOS, ROC and USC.

We had a very similar situation and aren't big picture takers either. I submitted all the evidence that he was at the university the same time I was, all his visa paperwork from that trip, all the passport stamps from our visits and I had a few photos I sent. We knew we were going to have to go through this before we filed, so I made sure to take pictures more than I usually do. We had an easy embassy though, so lots of evidence of our relationship wasn't needed at the interview.

You will need more then just 2 photos

you will have to include your passpot stamp, with your arrival date to US clearly shown. You will need to prove that you met her within 2 years so the date of ur arival in US is very important (since you were the one who travelled and stayed in the US). Besides, if you entered using F1 student visa before, submit a copy as well as the date and address can be found at the F1 visa, it's a good evidence.

I got an RFE for didn't include whatever I have mentioned above. So, please take note!

1] we have 4 good phtos, 1 each are taken at six flasgs and sea world, one is taken by my cell phone and 1 by her own mother

2] A ticket stub from movie with her and mine adjuscent number paid by Credit card mine.

3] A reciept for shopping with my CC when I bought her presents over there,

4] A birthday card she have which I sent her after coming here

5] Christmas gifts I sent her from here,

6] A reciept from hotel where I lived and where she used to work,that's where we met

7] sworn affadavit from her mother ( she was ex-judge) and her mother s friends! We were at her mothers home with her mothers friends when we were on trip

8] A Rent-A-Car reciept paid my me, which shows the date, and on those dates we got pic taken at six flags, she was taken off from work on those dates.

and as summer spring said, I have my f1, with my address on my visa and drivers licence,

will any of these work?

for on going relationship we have plenty of chats and call records,

I am just worried about documentry evidence of establishing a realtionship, will any of above does that ?

It sounds like good evidences of having met in person and of ongoing relationship. Despite what certain people might say it is probably better that you provide evidences of ongoing relationship along with your I129F and not only pictures.

As this hotel where you met is your stronger evidence of having been in the same place, could your fiancée add some kind of evidence that she worked there? This way you will have the receipt showing that you lived there + evidence that she worked there. (just a suggestion).

Also as you were a student in the US, I would personally add a copy of visa + a transcript. So no doubt you were in the States and it is where you met her!

Then for the interview later on, you will need to prove that you are still involved into the relationship, so I would suggest you start building that now. Emails, post cards to each other, phone bills. If you can also plan a trip to have more pictures it would be even better.

You will need more then just 2 photos

Well having just read that, that's me now in a state of fear and alarm! I went by the guide on VJ it says to send 2-5 photos. So I only sent 2. Mainly cos we are not huge photo people. I am always the one behind the camera and have hundreds of photos of my fiance and his kids and his dog! I did have lots more of us together, but ones taken by his kids which results in one of our heads cut off or blurred, or simply looking awful (you know what us women can be like). As we were not worried about not having enough other evidence (we submitted loads), I thought 2 would be enough. Shoot! Ah, well, nothing I can do about it now. Looking forward to my RFE now!

Pictures are secondary and not primary, so they will help but you need more. Affidavits are useless; I could send you one from me and I don't even know you. But a notarized affidavit will also be secondary and will help along with everything else.

Then for the interview you will need evidence of an ongoing relatinoship (remember you both intend to marry so the evidence should bear witness to this). Communicate more, via various methods. Send letters and cards. Your evidence should tell the story. Does it?

thanks Baron 555, first I dont know what regional forum is, where do i locate it ? and yah My pass port have visa and everything stamped since I had been there, along with My degree with transcript,

thanks for the affadavit point, I will now tell her to get it notarized. good point really. and as I said Hotel reciept is when I stayed where we met and hwere she used to work, I dont think it will be a problem for her to get a letter from ex-employer that she worked there. and since ANOTHER TRIP is not an option for me as of yet, I am thinking if what i have is enough?
