her case number appeared on the site four days ago.

I sent my dad with my Fiance's passport and Blue sheet to Abu dhabi embassy this sunday (December 20th).

so after 28 days of administrative procesing the embassy tells my dad the visa should be the next sunday (december 27th).

I was under the impression that the visa will be stamped by maximum a couple of days delay but apprantly not. I guess thursday being christmass holidays adds to delays.

my fingers are still crossed.

You sent your Dad with Fiance's passport to the embassy?!!!

I thought your fiance has to be present at the time of handing over the blue paper with passport...

its clearly wrote it on the Ankara's website that for K-1, K3/CR-1 fiance(e) has to be present at the time of handing the blue paper, maybe abu dhabi is different, who knows!!!! let us know if she gets her visa

some times it takes 3-5 days.

KGH no on AbuDhabi site there is no such thing. and actually the embassy prefered me to mail her passport so they can mail it back. unfortunately iranian prevents us to mail in the passport so that's why i sent my dad in person

http://abudhabi.usembassy.gov/iv/faq.html

but embassy is clearly aware that folks have limited stay in UAE because of visa limitations so therefore they allow other to bring your passport for stamping visa.

This was even the case in 1998 with my dad's green card processing.

That's good, at least one embassy cares.. Ankara doesn't care at all.
