Since none of us really know when CSC is going to begin processing K1 Visas in volume. I created a poll to get your take on the outcome. Here are the results of your predictions of when VJ members will begin receiving K1 Visa approvals.

Out of 54 pollers

Week of July 23rd (This week)...........[ 17 ]...[31.48%]

Week of July 30th.............................[ 11 ]...[20.37%]

Week of Aug 6th...............................[ 9 ].....[16.67%]

Week of Aug 13th............................ [ 1 ].....[1.85%]

At a later date than mentioned above.[ 9 ].....[16.67%]

Let's wait and see............................ [ 7 ].....[12.96%]

Predicting when CSC will get the ball rolling is like playing the lottery and the grand prize is our loved ones.

Hey Sleepless, have you contacted your congressman in OR? I know you have much more need to contact them than hopefully my fiance will ever have to, but I was just wondering if any of them are helpful, and if so which one? I think that, at this rate, my fiance might have to contact his reps and just wanted to know what type of sucess you had.

THanks.

I have contacted both senators, Smith and Wyden, and not had even a courtesy reply from either one. I'm going to change my registration to INDEPENDENT. I am getting ready to fax over the privacy release form and supporting documentation to my rep - David Wu if something doesn't happen by the end of the week. This has gone beyond ridiculous!!!

I'm still rooting for those who have had their petitions recalled... as much as I want my NOA2, so many others are in limbo with no word whatsoever....

Hard to project about happiness when so many are still waiting...

Does this mean there are still no CSC approvals? I hope we have some this week.

No other approvals have been reported.

It's a little disheartening that USCIS doesn't provide a decent timeline estimate to ease the tension and stress of waiting for certain petition and visa events. Everytime I log on to their site, I come in with a hope only to find the same message day in and out. When I look at my timeline here on VJ, I'm jumping for joy when I look at my timeline comment block and seeing a lovely little set of letters and numbers that is the date my "...petition could be adjudicated as early as..." For the past couple of weeks I've been tracking it and at first it was showing four weeks before I could expect something. Now I have this hopeful smile as I've seen that date come closer from mid Sept to mid Aug!!! Just little victories like that would make anyone jump for joy! wouldn't you agree? I understand that date is from an average of those who have been approved but my line of thought is, give us some kind of goal to look forward to rather than wait aimlessly for something to happen. That I think would help all of us immensely!

Aside from all that, I've got my sights set on early August....sooner the better!!!!! Good luck to all and may our NOA2s be cause for much celebration and numerous adult beverages ;) But keep it clean and safe aight?
