I am confused as to when are we going to submit those sheets..I have searched through the threads and I found out that in one of the recent medical exams of one of our members, she/he was asked to submit a DS-156. On the contrary, based on the instructions of the Manila Embassy regarding the St. Luke's exam, the paying of the Ds-156 was never mentioned. With regard to the experiences of some members, I have seen some of them not mentioning anything about it.

Does this mean i have to pay the visa processing before the medical?

Do we have to send it to the embassy for assessment?

Hoping for your patience and understanding as I have posted lots of threads already :P I can't stop thinking about it kasi eh :(

I think your SO need to take the 156 form to a BDO bank and pay a fee of about $132 USD. the bank will stamp the form as paid and this form, along with the other DS forms, will be submitted to the pre-screener when your SO has the interview at US Embassy.

If I am wrong about this I am sure someone will correct me.

Sorry i forgot the forms i filled out since i did that almost 3 yrs ago na. But one thing am sure is yes you have to pay the visa processing fee at BDO before you will have your interview and also you pay for your medical as well.

Correct me if am wrong.

those sheets (156 and 157) are for your interview . you don't need those for the medical. but you do need to pay for the visa application before your interview schedule. also, it's the 157 that is brought to BDO (among the banks you can pay at)

what you need at the medical are the one-time fee, visa-appropriate ID photos (2), interview appointment (photocopy is ok) passport, personal information about your USC fiance/husband

good luck and god bless!

This guide used to be pinned, but since the OP never updated it the pin was removed. The guide is still accurate except for the Doc verification and DELBROS is now Air21. Hope this helps.

Yeah thanks for that information Dakine and Phil. I already prepared it. My fiance and I are sharing expenses. He paid for the 400 USD filing fee while i am paying for my medical (yes you are right its 213 USD from the Manila Embassy website) and processing fee of 131 USD which has to be paid before the interview. I just don't want to pass on the burden of expenses to him all the time in fact, I always get irked whenever he sends me money.

OOPs! Sorry coffee hadn't kicked in yet. 1 PM is it.

Make a copy of your passport also. They will take it and you won't get it back until after your embassy interview.

Cellphones are allowed at St. Lukes.

Wear loose fitting clothes.

Take 2 ball pens and [i think] 3 passport pictures with you.Snacks and water also.
