Ah, it's working now. I read that one before. Of course, it was after we'd filed our waiver. Honestly, I wouldn't have done anything differently. We've told the truth, and if that's not good enough, then.... It just is what it IS at this point, ya know?

Hi J

I know, but I would have hired this guy as my Lawyer because any slight advantage he may be able to bring to the table would be money well spent if you get any advantage at all from his skills as a former USCIS adjudicator... I know it is great talking from hindsight, but to have a UK based lawyer is better than dealing across the pond from the UK anyway, also because he worked at the embassy I am sure he has a good deal of insider knowledge as to what makes them tick the Approved box :D

Anyway lets hope for some more news tomorrow.

Take care

Andrew

On the other hand, maybe he wasn't liked & they were glad to see him go.

Hindsight is always 20/20.

All we can do is pray.

Hi Everyone

Well it is now 3pm (UK Time) and still NO UPDATE for this Friday from USCIS :crying:

I guess they are finding it too hard to be able to update us either regularly every Friday !! or every time they even have any changes. :bonk:

So I doubt if they will update today as I am sure they knock off early on a Friday, especially as we have lovely weather here at the moment in London "Sunny and Blue Skies".. B-)

So everybody enjoy the weekend and we will see if the USCIS will see their way clear to update us on Monday instead.

Regards

Andrew

Andrew, not to belittle your, or anyone else's, experience, but you should be thankful you're not in AP!! No list, no updates, no information, no timeframes...it's not referred to as the black hole for nothing!!

Hope you enjoy the gorgeous weather we're having at the moment :)

I feel terrible for anybody in AP.

I doubt we'll see an update today or Monday. Probably nothing now until next Friday.

Hi Tree

I am very thankful that we are not in your situation as it must drive you mad not knowing where you stand at all  , I know that it would drive me nuts :bonk: and as for my wife Traci, well I think her doctor would be handing out the pills like candy. ;)

Anyway we are rooting for you and hope that you also get some good news soon. (F)

Take care

This morning in church, during the announcements, I raised my hand and informed the congregation that our case had gone from "pending" to "under review" at last, and there was an audible gasp and murmur of hope among my fellow congregants. It was humbling and touching.

So many people stop me on the streets in my tiny town to say they are praying for us. I honestly don't know how I'd make it through these last few weeks without those prayers.

I'm sure there are total strangers lurking out there who sympathize with our situation, who may never post. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you, as I do feel your prayers, and it means a great deal to me.

May God bless us all.

Julie

Hi Treehugger, for what its worth, i'm right there with you, and not to be one-upping you in the desperation stakes, but isn't there a chart for AP's where you can check your progress? I thought I saw one posted on here last week (F)

Hi Julie, thats great that people are supporting you like that, I think that anyone I tell of my situation think I've got no chance, making it all up, must have done something real bad or just round the bend.. I know this siutation has certainly made me feel 'round the bend' ..and beyond. :o:wacko:

Yeah, Justine+David posted a link to the embassy's site, and you've no idea how excited I was when saw it...I read all 35 pages looking for my case number, until it was pointed out that I could just enter the number in the search box  When it wasn't there I was about to panic, until I realised that it was for NON-immigrant visas, and of course the CR1 doesn't fall into that category, so back to nothing :bonk:

Anyway, you might all hear good news tomorrow, so the very best of British

I agree with all of the above :) Hey, we must all be just a little round the bend to have embarked upon a trans-Atlantic relationship in the first place :P :P :P
