One down and four to go!

So yesterday on my lunch hour, there was this elderly woman riding her scooter into the store and the shopping carts were blocking her entrance and she kind of got stuck so i offered her some assistance and she turns around yelling at me Nooo, I thought she was going to reach for her cane and hit me with it :blink: What's wrong with people??? You can't even be nice anymore.

Good morning Maureen!

Talking about what's wrong with people... Today I was crossing the street on my way to work with a group of people and some guy came driving so fast and literally passed on my foot with his car!!! I fell on the front glass of his car and all he could say "open your eyes while crossing the road!!" WTH!! :wacko: I feel like my foot is crushed and later when I reached work I found blood clots starting to form under my nails... I can understand if he's stupid...but stupid and rude is never a good combination :angry:

Anyway the weather is beautiful today and I have a whole long day to feel better :star:

Good morning! We have dreary, cloudy and windy skies with RAIN!! Simply the best weather!! Will only last till noon then back to the sun. Wonder how many accidents Tucson will experience today. Talk about nut cases....rain and driving in Tucson... :girlwerewolf2xn:

Good Tuesday morning!

Jeanne I am LOVING the rain up here in the Phoenix area. It's very calm this morning and I'm bummed it won't last past the afternoon today but yesterday was great! They do say we've got another one rolling in on Thursday and boy do we need it!

Aya...oh my gosh! Can you go have your foot looked at? Blood clots and crushed feelings are never good and you've been (your foot) run over by a car. I hope you can get to a doctor today. What a jerk that guy was!

Maureen, wow that woman really must be independent! Sorry she yelled at you out of the blue like that. It's enough to make people not want to even talk to each other anymore. I remember when people would smile and say hello all the time. Those were the days!

I am going to a teacher workshop again today. I love these days because I don't have to be the center of attention or "on stage" all day long. It's quite relaxing. Not to mention we get out earlier than I would normally stay at work. It was a great training yesterday too and I am learning some new ideas, which is always good with the workshops.

Well I'd best get myself ready and on the way. Have a great day!

Yay, Jackie! Tomorrow is my 5th anniversary. I will be accepting gifts of wood.

Looking forward to watching Harry Potter released today. I was on bedrest when it came out and was only able to watch the crappy download on my PC.
