What is the relevance of speed of approval VS country

Would a country Such as Belarus, Venezuala, Syria etc etc have a slower approval rate because of restrictions the US has put on VISA's for that countries officials. Will they do a closer backgorund check for the i129f aprovals of normal citizens. Would this create a possible delay becasue of a extra backgrounjd check for the immigrant?

Thanks :)

Try looking here....

Otherwise, we would only be speculating, especially since we know nothing of either of your backgrounds or intentions. People get caught up in FBI background checks all the time, from countries outside the ones you listed....

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I don't know much about this, but there was a thread earlier that talked about T27 countries....here's the link.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry107405

The link in the last posting in this thread doesn't work for me so I can't see the original article. It worked several months ago when I first looked at it and yes, it was a very long article and most of it didn't pertain to what I was looking for. I really don't remember anything from the article....sorry.

Malaysia was listed....I assume because it's a Muslim country. I'm not far enough along in my journey to see if it might affect us. My fiancee is Chinese and a Christian, but who knows what will happen.

Best of luck!
