hi, everyone,

I was surprised to receive a letter like this today :

"the records of this service indicate that you entered the us as a conditional permanent resident on *****. in accordance with section 216 of the immigration and nationality act you must file i-751. failure ro do so may result in the automatic termination of your status.

you can obtain form 751 from www. uscis.gov......"

but i filed 751 back in mid august to TX but package was returned stating that i should send to VSC. so i did. and it was delivered late august. after that got receipt, check cashed, got FP notice, walked in FP on 9/15/09.

all of sudden i got a letter as above? should i be concerned?

i was supposed to hear good news from them. that is just too wierd. anybody had same experience? any comment is highly appreciated!

thank you!!!

I agree with TracyTN - don't worry or even think about it! This is a generic letter they send based on a date in their system, and not based on your actual status (filed/not filed).

What is important is that you actually filed, received your NOA and did you biometrics, then you are doing just fine.
