So I thought it would be kind of fun to see what everyone likes to listen to at Christmas time - so perhaps we could post youtube videos here! To imbed a video just use:

They can be Canadian or not, Christmas - or not if you're not in to it, I will start with these guys, not something I am listening to but if you google Canadian Christmas songs, this is where you end up :lol:

Here is one of my favourites - a uniquely Canadian Christmas Carol - the Huron Carol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6IG6F6E5A

The "Huron Carol" (or "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime") is a Christmas hymn, written in 1643 by Jean de Brébeuf, a Christian missionary at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons in Canada. Brébeuf wrote the lyrics in the native language of the Huron/Wendat people; the song's original Huron title is "Jesous Ahatonhia" ("Jesus, he is born"). The song's melody is a traditional French folk song, "Une Jeune Pucelle" ("A Young Maid"). The well known English lyrics were written in 1926 by Jesse Edgar Middleton.

My favourite Christmas carol is O Holy Night. You have to be a very good singer to sing it though. My favourite renditions are Josh Groban and Celtic Woman.

I seem to be youtube challenged. I've tried 4 times now to insert the video's and they're not showing up here.
