That is funny,,, My house is in Texas,,, and my wife and I have been in Iowa/South Dakota for the past two months with morning temps in the 20's and have

yet to see even a snowflake.

Doesn't snow often down there,,, so, quite a treat for her I am sure. To bad it wasn't Chirstmas morning.

Regards,

I was so shocked when i opened the door this morning to go to work. It was all white and it was so exciting to see.

My husband had to drive me to work coz i was scared of crashing into anyone on the road...lol.

Yeah i know it's rare to snow there, but when i was in tech school back in 1996 it snowed in san antonio...weird..it was 80 or hotter the day before. It also snowed when i went to wichita falls in feb of 2002. Both times i was in texas it snowed. I can understand witchita falls, but san antonio was a different story..never expected it there.

Nice.

I remember when my asawa seen her first snow. I showed her how to catch a snow flake with her tongue. She asked, " Is it safe?" I said "yes as long as it is not yellow." So she did it.

A week later someone explained to her what yellow snow was. :jest:

TCO, you can keep that snow down there. :P We don't need it up here in Missouri. I lived in Houston twice when I was a kid and alot of people down there never seen snow except in pics and tv. I noticed that the snow stayed on your roof. A very good sign that your house is properly insulated in your attic...

I don't blame you. I seen the locals try to drive in the snow when I was working in Dallas -Ft. Worth.

Nice pictures. We are here down in Houston and hoping for snow tomorrow!!! When Adam first came to the USA last year Jan 9th, it snowed the next day and it was his very first time to experience it. I love the snow! Send it down to Houston!
