traveling With X Rays ????

Hello fellow VJers,

I have a question about traveling with X Rays from Vietnam to Los Angeles. (I think I just read a post on this.)

X Rays must be in possession, not packed in luggage?

Jessie says the X Rays are very large. I suggested rolling them up and packing them in a tube to bring them on the plane.

If Jessie gets a pink slip on December 3, she will defiantly be traveling to Los Angeles before the Holidays.

Any feedback and PRAYERS would be greatly appreciated.

We are A K-1 visa.

Keep it in hand just in case, but in my husband's experience, they didn't even touch it much less look at it...

Doug, they can be rolled and put in a tube but the tube must of sufficient diameter and must be careful not to bend or kink the x-ray. If it gets bent of kinked in a viewing area it becomes useless. I know they are a pain in the butt to carry but maybe the best way. (I've had a few to many xrays in my life and had to lug them from doctor to doctor. Nothing serious just played to hard when I was younger haha).

The x-ray will come in a big plastic bag with a handle. Everyone tends to just carry them that way (vs rolling and putting in a tube) because it is easy and it avoids bending or damaging the x-ray. They can just be tucked into an overhead bin inside the bag. They will likely not look at them at POE, but she can just bring them home and store them away.
