Visa 'canceled'?!?!

Depends how the visas themselves are issued. Power failure during the process resulting in duplicate allocation. Sloppy recording of data against the visa serial number. Any number of computer error issues could account for it.

The fact that it's cancelled WITHOUT prejudice is a notation that the error was their fault, so you shouldn't have any issues at all with the valid visa being active.

At the very least, you should be able to make the POE Officer laugh about how even USCIS staff have bad days and a "betcha haven't seen one of those before" comment.

umm... so flipping through my passport I noticed I actually have TWO K-1 Visas issued in there.... one on page 12, right in the middle, and the other on page 8.

The one on page 8 looks exactly the same as the one on page 12, except that a couple numbers are different and it has a huge 'CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE' stamp on it. The one on page 12 is fine. I'mmmmm kinda worried. Will they hassle this at POE? I have NO clue why there's an extra one on there. Does anyone else have anything like this?! I'm worried that POE will see the canceled one, and ignore the other one, and not let me cross. FRICK. I thought I was out of the 'worry' zone.

hah! Funny.. I didn't even think that this could've occurred for someone else, so I didn't search for it. Thanks for the link! I'll definitely read up on that.

I really wouldn't worry about it too much at all. The Consul actually created two alien numbers for my wife which caused some inconveniences at the border but never kept us from going or coming. Just remember it's the government so about 99% of the time something will not be right haha, good luck with coming over!
