Yep it's TURKEY TIME. I love Thanksgiving because it's the start of the holiday season, with only a few weeks till Christmas and New Years. Got a 20lb turkey that I'm bringing to my friends house and there will be about 5 or 6 of us there for it.

In the past I used to take trips for Thanksgiving since there was never any point going to Canada to visit friends or family since they do theirs early, so it's just a regular work day for them and my cousins here lived a bit too far to just drive too. So I used to just cruise out alone or with a friend to Vegas or Arizona or California for fun.

Then when I got married, I used to cook the turkey for just the two of us. We just always spent it together. So now this year being my first one single again in over 7 years, one of my friends is hosting it at her house. So it'll be lots more fun with the turkey, rum and egg nog, games and who knows what else.

Plus this is a huge weekend since it's rivalry football weekend too. So great games on Fri and Sat like the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn, then Sat Georgia vs. Georgia Tech, UCLA vs. USC, SC vs Clemson etc...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...
