Hi fellow visa journeyers!

I'm in the process of getting my husband's conditions removed and I was wondering if the affidavit has to be notarized.

Does anyone know?

Is it just me or is everyone wonderful on this site? Must have something to do with open-mindedness...

Thank you!

Kim

It does not have to be notarized, but we had all ours done because we had a lot of time and it was a simple extra step to make it more official. If you don't have time for it, then you don't need to do it.

No, they don't. A lot of people do not even send them as they are weak proof, but I did anyway.

Someone asked me to write an affadavit for him and to have it notarized so I thought it had to be done. I sent two letters and one was notarized, but the other was not. I wouldn't bother.

I sent like 10 of them all notarized, but I am a freak of nature and would rather have anything possible to provide them so they can't deny me. I feel like taking an extra step is worth keeping my sweet sexy hot Aussie man...One small step for man... One giant leap for mankinid!
