Does peru need a visa to travel to canada? Im not sure if it does or not. I think for you to have it be a lot less complicated you should try and find a direct flight to USA. If you get stuck in CBP in Canada it could potentially cause problems.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

im most instances as long as you stay in the airport you are ok. I dont know the specifics for your country or canada. I guess i have never worried about it being a USC, and in the military. If you book your ticket through a travel agent, or at least if you talk to them, they should be able to tell you the requirements. That's what they get the extra fees for.

You wouldn't need a visitor's visa to Canada, but might need to complete some kind of 'transit' document/visa. It doesn't matter from a US visa point of view that you transited in Canada, but you do need to find out what you will require to transit through Canada to the US.

This is another wrong guess. I just don't understand why people are willing to play with the lives of others this way. If you don't know, then don't guess. The information is available. Google "transit visa Canada" and see if you don't find the requirements are the same as for a visitor visa. Not an easy thing to accomplish from Peru. The OP needs to fly directly to the USA without a stop in a country that requires a visa for Peruvians.

Well, if I were you I wouldn't buy the ticket yet. Things happen - visa could be delayed, they might require some more evidence, you never know. And it says in the interview instructions (if I remember well) that you should not buy a plane ticket until visa is in hand. Good luck on your interview.
