The head consular dude, Paul Mayer. And yes, he really is THAT NICE! I'll post the review after my nap, didn't sleep much and it was a long drive back to kingston. Hate to keep you guys in suspense, but it will be up before the end of the night

*runs to her bed*

Is it just me or is Paul Mayer interviewing most of the Canadian VJ'ers? I hope I get him too, he seems really nice and I'm glad to hear the wicked witch of the montreal consulate got fired.

CONGRATS DANU. ^_^

Bern....I was just thinking of the same thing...I hope I get Paul Mayer for my interview as well!!! Everyone praised him so much that I am looking forward to meet him in person. Its amazing how a person can have such an everlasting impression on someone in a 15-20 min interview.

Heck, even if I don't get him as my interviewer I will probably ask to see him just so I can thank him for being so awesome. Well, that and because hes doing his best to clear out the backlog!

Just out of curiousity (because I forgot to ask) how long does it generally take for them to process and then send out the visa?

Congratulations to all the VJ'ers who got approved yesterday!! (F)

The visa could get to you anytime within the next 5-10 days. They often keep them and mail a bunch out together, hence the longer wait than you might think.
