I know it's hard to have patience, but you will just have to wait until you are out of AP. Don't think you will find "specific" details. Once your visa is issued you will be contacted....until then, you just

have to wait.

Good luck and I hope you will hear something soon!

Hi Mounir. I am in exactly the same position as you, but the only difference is that what was missing for me was the case file from NVC. I called the embassy today and they said they still have not received the papers from NVC. The papers were sent on the 16th of October so I dont know how it hasnt been received yet. The guy at the embassy told me that they jsut received new boes on Thursday the 19th and that they will be opening them in the next few days and he told me to call back in about 2 days to see if there are any new updates. Have you tried calling them instead of emailing? I had a lot more success and obtained a little bit more info when I called instead of emailing. Best of luck and isa all our visas will be processed soon.

Salam bro

Unfortunately no one can give any details about whats going on .

I called them yesterday and the guy there was so nice and friendly to me . he says its still under AP i told him that there are so many for AP and i told him that i called DOS and they told me that my case is pending in Egypt and they don't have anything to do with it in USA .

and the guy says yeah thats right .its pending the consular officer review and thats a part of the AP .

He say that they are unauthorized to discuss the details of AP cause the CO told them to don't talk about it !

So don't try to get any details .

I hope that you will hear good news soon .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

I'm sure visa applicants are given a bit of privacy, just as much of everything the US government does includes the right to it. After all, they don't know - and can't know - for sure who's calling to make inquiries.

Yes I was in the same situation, and we waited 3 months of ap to get his passport back with the visa, they kept his passport too. Ap means from 1 to 3 months, sometimes more.

When you call the DOS, ask them if your administrative processing is internal or is it name checks in Washington.

If it is internal, then the Co is verifying information or documents (investigating.)

If it is DOS, then it is the name checks.

I hope that they finish your AP soon. I hope they finish all of our AP soon!!!!

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........
