I'm sorry it won't be before Christmas. Wait for a week before calling NVC to make sure they've received and uploaded your case into the system. Give them your email addresses.

Going through NVC will take 4 weeks AT THE VERY LEAST. Quite possibly 6. And then it's another month for the interview.

You will need the I864 package.

Your wife will complete DS 3032 and DS 230.

Get all your papers ready for smooth sailing through NVC. Read the guides.

Just to add: What are you going for? The CR1 or the K3?

Those steps I mentioned above is for the CR1. Not the K3. I'm not sure about the latter process. But I think it goes through NVC quicker and might save you 3-4 weeks in the process. It's up to you to decide whether the cost/time of AOS from a K3 is worth it.

Hi there! Congratulations on the approval and wishing you luck for the NVC process! We got approved last week and it's been a week before NVC received and assigned case number. I just spoke with NVC operator to update our email addresses (mine and hubby's). Sachinky is right, NVC might be done after holiday season! ATM, i would suggest to read the guide; http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut.

RE: document preparation, have your AOS package documents ready (tax transcriptsand/or W2, I-864, etc). Have her get Police Clearances, NBI, DS 230, etc)

Thru with NVC in 13 days? Must be a"CHOOSEN ONE".. Mine took exactly 27 days for case completion but missed the interview scheduling week by few days hence now waiting until 2nd week of next month for interview date :( ..Course not counting those 14 days it took for our case to get from USCIS to NVC after approval..

Buckle up, if you have all your ducks in the row, still it will take 3 good months until interview date..

One more thing..

Our 129 K3 which was approved the same day as 130 (09/31), barely got sent to USEM abroad last week on 11/13 and reached there on 11/17..It took NVC exactly 1 month 12 days to log it in to their system and forward it to the embassy..
