Where did you interview? Any particular reason you're in AP?

That email makes no sense. On one hand they said the appliation is incomplete/inconclusive. And on the other they are requesting the passport?

Was that the whole email?

I'm guessing if they are asking for the passport, then it has to be a good sign. They must want to stamp something in it. Otherwise why bother asking for it in the first place?

usually when they ask for the beneficiary's passport, then they are ready to issue the visa. 221g is just a standard form either asking for additional documents or saying AP or saying they are sending the case back to uscis. so she should submit her passport if that is what they want
