Hi Everyone,

I am putting together the I-130 package for my wife. I am reading the K3 Visa Guide and it stated that I need to copy all pages of my US passport. Is that really neccessary? Would be sufficient to copy just the first page?

6/03/06 - Submitted I-130 petition

6/08/06 - NOA1 generated

7/18/06 - Transferred to CSC

7/25/06 - Petition arrived at CSC

7/26, 7/27, 7/28 - Touched

8/03/06 - Approved!!! (56 days)

8/04, 08/06 - Touched

8/17/06 - Petition arrives at NVC, Case number assigned

8/28/06 - NVC: DS-3032 & AOS Fee Bill generated

8/29/06 - Emailed DS-3032 Choice of Agent

6/15/06 - Submitted I-129F petition

6/16/06 - Petition arrived at Chicago CIS Office

6/21/06 - NOA1 generated

6/24/06 - Received NOA1

6/26, 06/28, 06/30 - Touched

7/08/06 - Received and returned IMBRA RFE

7/18/06 - Received and returned 2nd IMBRA RFE

8/28/06 - Approved!!! (68 days)

9/07/06 - Case forwarded to embassy

9/11/06 - Case arrives at embassy

K-3 abandoned in favor of CR-1

When my husband flied the I-130 he only sent a copy of his birthcertificate!!............he didnt bother sending his passport copies :yes: ............but he is USC from birth i dont know if this makes a difference as to wether the BC will be enough or if you became a USC maybe the requirement is ALL passport pages :unsure:

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

jck22, please do not post the same question for many times. I already answered you when you posted the same question few days ago. Here it is again:

Yes, USCIS asks for the photocopy of all pages of the US passport. But, if you are a born US citizen, you can submit the photocopy of your birth certificate or if you are a naturalized US citizen, you can submit the photocopy of the Naturalization Certificate. By doing so, you would avoid photocopying many pages.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
