Hello all,

My interview is scheduled tomorrow and as I am going through everything one more time, I have a question regarding DS156...Do I have to glue/staple my passport-type pictures on there AND have an additionnal two passport-type pictures with me?

Also can anyone please confirm I need 2 copies of DS156, 1 copy of DS156K, 1 copy of DS157 and 1 copy of DS230 part II?

Thank you for all responses.

Stefany.

I have not gone through this part..we are working on CR-1 visa, but i know the DS230 is for an Immigrant visa. As far as the pictures. I would just carry them with and let them glue/staple the pictures to the forms. MOST of the time (at least years ago when i went through the fiancee visa process) if anything you would staple. There will be people to give you a difinitive answer though. Congratulations on getting to this stage though. good luck tomorrow with your interview!

On edit..i just read the form and it says to glue or staple. i would staple if it were me.

I believe the form indicates to either staple or glue the photos to the photo section of the form.

Yes you need 2 copes of DS156, 1 copy of DS156k, 1 copy of DS157 and 1 copy of DS230 part II (sworn statement).

i glued mine on when i passed them because some girls before me had to lose their line because they were told to glue it first then come back after that so they ended up going in the last line..

My Fiancee glued her passport photo in place. The paperwork was processed quickly and without any issues as a result (of having all i's dotted and t's crossed, etc.). Good luck!

We did not put any passport photos on our paperwork. Ian took them to the interview (in London) and they were fine with that.

From my embassy (London) website: Complete the Form DS-230-Part 1, Form DS-156 and DS-157 for each family member applying for a visa. In addition, the principal applicant is also required to complete form DS-156K. Note: Forms DS-156 and DS-157 must be completed in duplicate.

If you send DS-230 Part II, which you can do, do not sign the sworn statement. That section indicates that you shouldn't write in it. You've probably noticed this. Paperwork is fun! :)
