I am so sorry you had to deal with that - it really was inexcusable. Under the circumstances he didn't need to be rude and abusive. I agree that you should make a formal complaint - his signature should be on your I-94 (I think - I can't remember now if it is or is not) - but you should be able to pull together enough information to identify him. You might want to have your US citizen fiance sign the letter as well and make it from the two of you. It should be addressed to the US border authority (don't remember the full proper name right now) and you may wish to copy it to several different 'levels' the local one at the airport and then the one directly over them - and maybe the senior level as well. Be factual, be concise and be courteous - 'angry' may not get much attention but 'quiet outrage' should be more effective.

Glad you made it alright and are now safely in the US. Good luck with the wedding - and best wishes for a happy marriage.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and well wishes. I will do what I can to write that letter and send it out to through the proper channels to try and get this guy in trouble. I'll let you all know how the wedding goes on Friday and our little party for our families on Saturday. :)

Ohmygosh, what a horrible "Welcome to America", Domegirl. :( I have absolutely no idea why some people act that way. I can only surmise that they must be very miserable in their own lives. He probably spends his life on a vicious cycle of what-goes-around-comes-around. I'd be miserable too! lol

Best wishes on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon! Can't wait to hear all about it. :luv:
