Co-Mingling of Financial Resources

On the K3 Visa, how can you show co-mingling of financial resources? I am a US Citizen and my fiance (wife-to-be) is Indian.

On the I-130 you have to show further proof of a bona fide relationship. I don't think it will be possible to have joint ownership of property or things like that - so I am just wondering what would constitute co-mingling of financials.

I am thinking of the following and am just looking for confirmation:

Bank Accounts

Credit Cards

Joint Cell Phone Bills

If these are valid and viable options, I am just wondering how to setup these types of accounts with my fiance (wife-to-be). Since I am a US Citizen and she is an Indian citizen, how can I setup these types of accounts jointly with her?

Yes, what you listed would be evidence of comingling of assets. However, anything on the list that appears after the words, "In addition to the required....." is not required. I may be a good idea to show some evidence of trips to see your spouse like boarding passes, passport stamps, photos or evidence of how your regularly communicate.

If i remember correctly last time you told me you are filing for a K1.

Due to some complications - I am now filing for a K3 spouse visa.

This is an arranged marriage and all the parents have agreed the marriage should be on April of 2009. If I file for a K1 then I cannot get married to her according to the K1 rules. So we are waiting for the marriage date and then will file the K3.

On my next trip to India I will setup at least one "co-mingling of financial resources" - such as a bank account with both our names - if I can figure out how to do that successfully in India.

I dont know if this will apply to you but thought that I would share it, My hubby was able to put me on his Bank account with the ICICI bank.. and I think that would show co-mingling of finaces.. I was not able to put him on any of my bank accounts here in the US... but India doesnt need the documentation that the US does... so if she has an account with that bank or any bank... just see if she can add you.. I was able to take a print out of the bank account and send it in with my I-130 packet. It was a little process.. but I think It will save you a head ache in the future... as far as the other evidence that you are asking for... I think that they all would be good... but because she doesnt have a SSN# it will be hard to add her to any of your accounts here in the US. The embassy already knows that your co-mingling of finaces is going to be limited, so dont stress yourself out to much :D
