BYW Slim great pic of you 2 in NY

That's not NY! Both pics of us on here were in Moscow, one was in the Metro, the other in front of Moo-Moo on old-Arbat. I hope soon to have some pics of us in NY, we're planning on honeymooning there. I'll be sure to post some new photos when the time comes. (Wow, got me excited thinking in the future!)

I called the US Embassy in Msocow and they still have not received my petition. NVC stil confirms that my petition left for Moscow on July 21, 2006. I am hoping my petition reaches Moscow soon so my fiance can have her interview in October. Do petition once sent from NVC take longer than 2 weeks to get to Moscow?

NVC should be able to tell you if it is there or not. They use DHL I think. Anyone ever ask NVC to track package?

John,

I called the 202 DOS number today and they told me that an interview for September 21, 2006 has been scheduled for my fiance. I am so happy. What did the DOS tell you when you last called? I have a feeling that the embassy customer service in Moscow doesn't the latest information on recent cases. I will confirm all of this with the Embassy next week. I hope that your fiance has her interview scheduled soon.

Congrates!!!!

I called Friday still no date :(

What did they (dos) tell you the other times you called?

John,

PThank you for the congratulatory wish. Prior to calling last Thursday they told me that my case was pending and had been sent out to Moscow. I have a feeling that your fiancee will get an interview soon. I called DOS today to reconfirm what I was told last week and they said the same thing. Also, they told me that the packet they sent to my fiancee has her interview time. The visa specialist I talk to also mention that Moscow is not too busy so this is why they scheduled the interview in September. Hope all goes well for you and Anna.

John,

Moscow finally confirmed my fiancee's interview. It is for September 21, 2006 at 8:00AM. The lady who I talked to from the Embassy told me that my fiancee shouuld be ready to be at the Embassy for 2 or 3 hours.

She also confirm that a packet had been sent out to my fiancee. Now all that my fiancee and I need to do is review our application so she can be ready for the interview. I truly hope that you can get an update soon on your case. Have you called the Embassy in Moscow? Lots of luck.

Cesar

Still no date- sort of blows my theory.

Anyway wrote both senators last Friday. My Mom is really sick so I am hopeful that Anna an her can meet. both replied this Friday with :

Constituent services received information yesterday, that Ms. Anna's case requires additional administrative review. The consular section has requested Ms. Anna's contact phone number so they could get in touch if needed. The Consular Section will process the case as soon as the additional administrative review has been completed.

So we continue to wait...
