My dog has a spray collar that sprays citronella.

Dogs don't like the smell.

When my dog wears it, it's not even on half the time, he just knows better.

That might be an idea. We've tried a bark collar but he knows how to move it so it doesn't bother him. He's super smart. After I posted that he stopped barking too, what a nut

As I understand it, while you can apply for an EAD strictly on a K-1, it would only be valid for the length of the K-1, and with EAD processing times being two months or more, it's kinda useless (and expensive) to try before you apply for AOS.

Yup, exactly! You can do it, its just pointless. They don't need you have the card or to have applied for it to give you the SSN though, they just put specifically on the card that it can't be used without the proper authorization documentation.

Lol I'll vent for the difficulty of stairs for my wife as she took a nice spill while taking down the garbage yesterday and could barely walk due to her bruised tailbone. She had the day off and told me when I got home from work that while she was down seeing all the garbage strewn about the tile and carpet she just started having a tantrum and cried crazily hahahaha.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

This is kind of a silly vent, but oh well :P

My parents were the kind of people who stopped buying me video games when I turned 13.

For years and years I bugged them about getting a Gameboy Advance and they kept telling me no.

I emailed them on Sunday to say Happy Anniversary and my mom emailed back talking about stuff and to tell me...

They bought a Wii.

Oh sure, buy yourself something but don't let me have a simple hand held gaming device

Not really vent-y, but semi-related:

When I was a kid, I HATED the taste of well water. I begged and begged and begged to get a filter, or culligan water, or ANYTHING other than well water. My parents kept telling me our water was fine and that I just needed to get used to it.

Right after I left home (about 8 years ago), my parents started buying filtered water...FOR THEIR DOG. Didn't I feel special!

I give my dog filtered water

And I liked the taste of my parents' well water, better than the water in the city.

Lol...Opposite vent for me...

I HATE filtered, bottled, city, culligan, etc. water...Way too "metallic" and "skimmed" for my taste....

I LOVE well, country/rural, water (yeah, I'm weird...)...There's just a certain "unique taste" is much more "natural and fulfilling" than other types of water...

Lol..Leave water the way it is, the way that nature intended! Don't try to make it "better" than it is!.....

Ok, so now that I live in the country/rural area, with my own well water system, I can drink all the well water that I want...

But...My husband won't let me....:(....since I'm still nursing the baby, and he doesn't want that water affecting the baby's health....

So now we have to drink bottled water......(which I honestly doubt is much better than well water)

On the bright side...I think: 5 cents per empty bottle of water for the refund....Enough for extra diaper money, perhaps, if we drink enough...lol....

Hopefully I can drink well water again...After I'm done with the nursing..(though I'm not stopping anytime soon...sigh....)

Lol...Though on the opposite side...Well water is good for drinking, but not good for washing....

Wish I could use bottled water to wash my clothes, and use well water to drink...Not the other way around!

Hmmm...Wonders what will happen if I pour the bottled water in the washing machine and put washing machine water in the bottles......lol......(just kidding)

Ant (Can't wait to drink well water again...sigh....)

Ant - I remember in my mommy group, several mothers had wells and were concerned about drinking the water. The child educator recommended just boiling the water and then drinking the cooled water instead of buying bottled water. Just a thought.

BTW ... where is a pic of BabyA???

Lol..Semi-related vent for me....

My mom/grandma to my son, who is in her 50/60s...

-Just bought a new computer, with all the latest technology....

-Buys clothes every single day, most of which are the latest trends and not really age-appropriate for her.....

-Buys clothes for me, and often complains that my clothes are 'too old' for my age (Lol...Definitely not my styles..So I donate those clothes to charity..)

-Goes out for dinner frequently, at expensive restaurants....

-Is going back to college/university next year to study...

-Is back on the dating scene again (my parents are divorced)....

-Is asking me for dating advice (Lol..You should have heard the 'lecture' I gave her about 'the wrong type of men'...not good...)

-Goes out socializing and partying with her "friends"...

-Hangs out with people who are closer to my age than to her age....

-Is asking me for parenting advice and has no idea what I am talking about when I talk about parenting-related stuff...(Lol..For example, she actually asked "How was childbirth like?" and "What is a diaper genie?"....Good grief, haven't you been through this before?....)

-Is asking me if I'm going out partying and drinking for New Year's (Lol..What party? I have a baby for pete's sake! And I don't drink alcohol either.)

Not that I care here, as she can do what she wants with her life, and I can do what I want with mine...

But I'm tired of having to say to her..."I'm not your mother! Quit acting like a teenager! Grow up and start acting like a grandma!"....

Clearly there is something wrong here..lol...Midlife crisis for her perhaps?

At the rate that she is going....Seriously, I think she needs help.....Sigh....
