Fail. You get another -1

Careful, you only get 8 per day, if you waste them all here then when you are reallllly mad you will be button mashing with no result. -1 for you.

Ugggh can I pull the covers over my head & just go back to sleep!? Tossed & turned ALL night! I have this sleep cycle app for my iPhone... My graph from last night looks horrible! I was awake for more than half the night!

7am....phone rings... Not answering it ( look up the # later it was from the medical clinic... No clue why they are calling)

8am....someone starts vacumning & banging around, think it was the neighbors downstairs moving out.

8:50am.... Don't recognize the number.. Not answering.

8:50 am... Decide ok I'm getting up! Take the dog out, get in the shower!

Get out of the shower & there is a voicemail from a whiny teenager saying "daaaaaad you said you would drive me to school today......calll meeeee back", they had also

called back 10 min later while I was in the shower....

Ugggh can't go back to sleep until puppy is picked up

from the groomers...I dislike incompetent ppl... They booked him as a wire fox terrier...." oh I've never heard of a toy fox terrier"...." is that a breed?" * smacks head*

*cries* I want my husband home.... The connection is horrible and I never get to talk to him very long over there.....

so my landlord is being a jerk.

currently i have an open ended lease. no actual contract other than a simple letter we did via email that states how much the rent is that its on a monthly basis and that firs/last up front.

he knows my inteview is teh 30th. he knows i WANT to leave asap to go to chicago. however what i keep telling him is it all depends on when i get my visa. if montreal mails it with the holidays friday /monday , i'm not sure when i will get it. so i asked him can i stay the first full week of april just in case. he says sure.

well he's been advertising my place saying its available april 1st. and that it's up to me to tell them it may or may not be. GRRRR.

so now i'm like ####### does this mean i need to pack up the car when i leave for montreal on the 28th, and have my visa packet sent somewhere else? Only other option i have is my uncles place in Niagara, which would mean me staying there mooching until it gets delivered, storing my stuff, and making david drive back to illinois since he can only take off the week of my visa. waiting for it to be delivered and then only leaving the 9th fo the staes when my wedding is the 11th.

so now all my plans are up in the air and i dont have an answer on where i can stay or anything! or where to even have my visa sent!

Why oh why can't montreal be like vancouver and just let ppl pick it up a day later??? GRRRR would make life alot easier right now. :(

I'm annoyed at how many aspects there are to the whole importing / licensing / titling / registering / inspecting / insuring a car situation down here. In B.C. it was really a one-stop shop...well, two. But there are so many elements to it here! I just got emissions / state inspection and insurance (Geico was the only one that gave me rates under $100 per month while still having low deductibles and high coverage), so now I've just got to do the title and registration.

It reminds me a bit of the immigration process... <_<

I'm glad that I sold (gave away, lol) my Car before I moved down here!! I have been in line at the DMV a few times for other things and have seen people turned away since they didn't have all the required info! And beware that VA DMV does NOT always send out info on when ur license expires!!! Urs will prob expire the same month as ur 2 yr greencard! VA DMV accepted the 1 yr extension letter u get when u file for the 10 yr greencard

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I am disgusted with Casey Anthony. A judge ordered her indigent today, so we will be paying her legal bills now.

:|

Are you kidding?! I was watching the case earlier on TV but didn't catch the end...

That's ridiculous.

And I, too, am glad I didn't bother bringing down my car. Sold it to my sister for half what I paid, now she's got a nice, newer reliable car and I got a MUCH newer car that I'm quite happy with. No hoops (outside of bank issues) to jump through.

Got a new phone this weekend. Between all the overage and international calls, we were getting hit for about $150 per month on our cell phone bill each month, and that was just for basic phones with basic service. We never went over our minute alotment or texts each month, just got reamed by calls to Canada, and nickel and dimed to death with minute service fees. So we started looking elsewhere and found out we could get top of the line phones and service for about what we were already paying. First thing, i now understand completely why they call them 'crackberry's' The sad thing though is that I still don't get any service in my office. It's like the black hole of mobile service here. I can go 2 or 3 levels underground, in the basement and get a great signal, but not in my office. To make things even better, they have shut off the wi-fi here at work. So i managed to get myself addicted to my blackberry and now facebook, and I can't even check them now. You gotta love poetic justice.

On a side note, I see I have a fangroup now by all the negative marks on some of my inane posts. Thanks everyone
