HELP !! RFE for Affidavit of support

I got an RFE for the affidavit of support it said :income indicated on the I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to that shown

on the most recent tax return and W-2(s).

we sent a photocopy of the tax return and W2s . and we used the "salaries wages and tips" figure. which one were you suppose 2 use ? i wud appreciate any help.

You are supposed to use the amount in the gross (total) income.

i believe its the first line of the second page of your tax return,,,, also the last line of the first page, total adjusted gross income
