Good mornin all,

Well, I am frustrated. I called the main office of the schools and they told me Lake's background check is IN and he is authorized to work. AND that the man that needs to call him to let him know this, knows about it. BUT...he needs to get authorized by this particular man FIRST, and the man is out all day in meetings. Now how long he has been authorized, beats me, but its frustrating to think everything is in order and we are just waiting on a call from a man who forgot bout calling us. Sigh...

I also thought bout telling Lake to tell the guy right off bout taking off, but he told me to let him handle it, he wants to "prove he is a good worker" first, and that makes sense as well. So I just dont know. I guess I will let him handle it, he is good with people, and if he has to quit, he is willing to, in order to spend time with kids. I have mixed feelings about this, since this is a great job with fantastic benefits, but then again, no place seems to deserve loyalty anymore, and this has been proven over and over to me.

Anyhow, I will call the place where he is to start, maybe he can light a fire over the main office's hiney for authorization! Grrrr! A whole week of lost wages...and cant go anywhere cuz we have to sit here and wait!

Wow, I have 475 posts, how many before the first heart? 500? I can make that easily if I just break up what I say!

Oh and Elizabeth, I told Lake about your plants and he says you must have got ahold of some gay seeds too.

And Dee, Lake says his blood is bitter too, but I guess the mosquitoes dont know about that.

You need 525. yeah you gotta wait for someone else to post then post your second post and so on. I find random congrats really strange - but thats how most people do it - they just say "congrats :D " all day long.

Oh and Elizabeth, I told Lake about your plants and he says you must have got ahold of some gay seeds too.

 Yeah Henry talks about "gay seeds" too. He said that there are ways to tell - that under certain conditions seeds will be barren. Henry's dad also said there are male papaya trees it will only blossom but they will not bear fruit. Also you have to plant when the moon is doing something and the tide is doing something. Oy! Too much for me. LOL

Oh and when we were on our honeymoon, we bought the sweetest watermelon and honeydew melon in Barbados. Henry told me to save the seeds and he would plant them on his dad's farm. He cautioned me NOT to put the seeds in my mouth and then spit them out - because any seed taht was in my (or anyone else's) mouth will NOT produce. I tried it and sure enough -it grew a vine but no flowers came out and the vines he planted bore fruit within 4 months!!!! :o:wacko:

Julie I see you down there!!! Have you started walking around block 20 times like my coworker did? LOL

Happy Friday to everyone! (L)

Elias has still not come out. I go to the doctor today, mabye they will force him out then ;) If not, Monday I have some testing done - and they will induce me around the 21st  I guess not more than 10 more days to go then.

I've been getting as much walking in as possible, but this little guy is on a nerve or something - I can barely walk!! It takes me a good 5 minutes just to get up my steps.

Maybe if I give the dutty wine a try??? :P

Is this your final K1 approval? If it is, they now send it to NVC (National Visa Center -- in New Hampshire?) for processing. After about two weeks it should be sent down to Kingston.

You can start calling NVC in the middle of next week to see where they are in the processing.....but, be paitent, they aren't the fastest (or nicest) people!!

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa
