K1 interview after effects

In my K1 interview time frame given to me was 45 days, its been almost 1 month but no hear from embassy.

any thing i can add to support my case b/c with in 45 days embassy gona make their decision.

Hey Faisal, I keep reading about AP (Administrative Processing) and it seems they are pretty strict with it. I think they are justing checking out everyone really good to make sure nothing is being hidden and someone isn't trying to scam to get into the country for wrong reasons or to do something bad. AP is HORRIBLE and just torture but hopefully it will be over soon. It seems after the interview there is no set timeframe for giving the visa as its just a matter of getting thru security. After interview it could take weeks or months and very rarely I see a few days. GOOD LUCK!! Hope its over very very soon for you & you get visa quickly.

Also do you mind telling me what did you send to ISL for packet 3 before getting your interview?? My fiance wants to send the DS-230 (part I), DS-156, DS-156K and the I-134 documents from me along with all supporting documents, police certificate and ORIGINAL birth certificate. I'm nervouse about him sending original birth cert. as they could misplace it. I thought maybe he could send a copy and a note saying that he will bring original to interview. What you think??? Thanks

In a post above you stated financial suppot information was not required for a K-1. YES it most definitely IS required. So, did you provide it at ytour interview or not? Not providing it would explain why your visa has not (and will not) be approved.

Per your earlier post, your case has a red flag which must require further Admin processing due to the confusion of your father... how could your father not know if you are married or engaged??? why did he get confused?? Despite the fact that you seldom visit them, but given the culture you are raised in, parents usually know wat their kids r upto...... Given the facts you have provided i must suggest to you that .... be prepared to wait. They might do some additional field work.... God knows if your father's interview had a negative/positive impact on your case...

Additionally you are a male thus security clearance might delay the decision further.

45 days is not enuff... w/out any red flags, without any missing docs, for an unknown reason we had to wait 16 months for our visa... because my fiance had a common name... so wait a few more months... there is no definite wait time for ISL.
