Hello, the DS230 instructions state " complete one copy of this form for yourself and each member of your family, regardless of age, who will immigrate with you". My husband (USC) and I (Canadian) have a son who lives with me in canada where he was born, but since his father is USC he has blood right to US citizenship. We just applied for his passport. He will be moving to the US with me obviously. Should I be filling out one of these forms for him as well (hes only 16months)?? Thanks. I didn't think I had to do anythng for him, but now that I read these instructions, im not sure.

thanks

You son, if granted USC, is not therefore an immigrant. So he will not immigrate to the US since he will have citizenship.

No DS-230 needed for your son if he gets his citizenship recognized

Good luck.

Right, a US citizen doesn't immigrate to the USA or apply for any visa. They just "travel".
