Hi globetrotter!

My fiance got an email response (he emailed Tuesday or yesterday) saying his appointment had been set today for 23 August. Strange though, I mailed them last Thursday and no response from them. Maybe he has the magic touch. Hopefully they will have his DOB corrected by then. We are on similar timelines, maybe you will be next!

I hope that you hear from them soon.

Good luck!

ps aw cr*p. I tried to edit the other post by adding a reply so I can put in that we are on similar timelines, and ended up double posting. What a dork.

Boo hoo!!! Just spent more money calling the embassy cause I am desperate to know a date. E-mailed again on Friday but still waiting for that response. They still do not have any of the checklist forms I sent as registered on their system . :crying:

Just venting frustration!

Hey guys!! I got a date!! Wohoo!! Though it is the 1st of September which is a little late for me so I have e-mailed to see if they will bring it forward. Do you think it is worth having my finace contact the DOS as well to ask about another date?

Anyway I am very releived to no longer be 'lost in the system'.

It is worth a try to get it changed, go for it. Don't know if DOS can do it or not, perhaps just email London.
