Can I change my local office?

Hello, You all!

I am sending my I751 next month. I was wondering if there is any way I can get my biometrics in a different office. My local field office is located in Atlanta, but the one in Charleston, SC is a lot closer than Atlanta, even the one in Jacksonville, FL is closer.

Is any way I can get my biometrics in SC instead of GA??

Thanks in advance

am not sure you can choose the location , but for example when i went trough AOS ( i live in Mass ) my bio was supose to have been in Boston , but since we are closer to the CT border they send us to CT , 30 min drive instead of 1. 1/2 hours to boston we didnt have to do anything ,

am hoping it will be the same thing when i file for ROC end of Nov

My ASC appointment was assigned in St. Louis, MO... Since I had to go to Kansas City, MO for my infopass, I have decided to do my early biometrics there. No problem at all... Now I don't know if the same will work for others though.

05/10/2011 - Case Status Notification - Interview scheduled

05/14/2011 - Interview Appointment Letter in the mail

06/21/2011 - Interview Appointment Date

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

The same was with me. When I sent I-751, I lived in western Mass, and my biometrics appointment was in CT, because the application support office in Hartford, Ct was closer to me than the office in Boston, MA.

There are different types of immigration offices. Some of them offer all kinds of services (like infopass, interviews, biometrics). But also there are Application Support Centers which offer only biometrics services.
