We got the card production ordered e-mail on 2/24, and then we received another e-mail yesterday (3/1) stating that approval notice was sent.

Yesterday my husband received that letter saying congratulations on becoming a lawful PR, but there was no card. The letter stated the card would arrive in up to 60 days. So what was the 2nd e-mail for?

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

Just a quick timeline update.

Did the 2nd biometrics on Feb 1st 2010, haven't heard a peep yet. Website still says "initial review".

Looks like about 2 months from the last biometrics appointment is a good time to except the next update from USCIS.

I am in a similar situation , did you get a "touch" or a "LUD" after the second biometrics appointment

This sounds right. You will receive an envelop for the card which is different than the congratulations letter. Several people received 3 text messages... so you are on the right path!

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony

This sounds right. You will receive an envelop for the card which is different than the congratulations letter. Several people received 3 text messages... so you are on the right path!

September 5th 2007 Married in the U.S

October 15th 2007 documents were recieved

Nov 25th 2007 biometrics

Dec 17 2007 work authorization

Feb 26 2008 interview and approval

25 Nov 2009 I-751

27 Nov 2009 NOA

11 Dec 2009 Biometrics (early bio)

31 Dec 2009 touch (web site indicates last update)

Susan you will get the card soon , I know its difficult , I felt the same way during my AOS process back in 2007 , I had to go thru a lot , name check , then they lost one of my A files ( which was created because I had a I-140 filed thru work) and then when they finally found the file they took ages to transfer it and combine it and then finally approve it..it will eventually come ...

thank you for the FBI # I just called them too , she said they where processed and send to the agency the same day ,

so i guess the waite continues
