We had amazing plants in Edmonton. It turned out to be such a huger expense + hassle that we left them there :(

My wife's plants were one of the main reasons we rented a van and drove from Edmonton to Vancouver. I thought she was nuts, but it made her happy.

Get her another houseplant with a note that says, sorry I couldn't drive you to the airport. That'd make me happy. :thumbs:

What's a good, easy-to-care for plant that won't break the bank? We're a little tight on money right now.

Personally, I love a cactus (cheap, easy to care for) but african violets can be got for cheap at Wal-mart and such and fairly easy to care for.

You could also buy a small pot and plant a few seeds too. I (L) plants.
