Don't know, almost no one ever gets called for a Removal of Conditions interview. Have you been? I've only seen one person on this board who got called for interview and I don't think that person's interview has happened yet.

I thought everyone went. When I went to Memphis for my AOS interview, the officer said in two years I would have to go back for another interview to remove the conditions on my green card. He said basically, all I would have to do is show up with my husband. Standard procedures he said. Maybe its changed since then? That would be great if I didnt have to go for the second interview.

Err ... no. They call people they're suspicious of for an interview, and a random sampling of people they're *not* suspicious of, but the cast majority people get approved without an interview.

Actually my BF is visiting now and her husband was K-1 also, and their Lifting Conditions was approved in late 2004 without interview. So it's certainly not a new thing.

After I lifted conditions, my 10-year GC took 10 days from the Infopass processing appointment date to the day it arrived in the mail.

I didn't have a I-751 interview either, but I think you should always presume to be having one and then collect lots of evidence to bring in case you are called to one.

My husband points out that BF was a bad abbreviation. Best friend. Not boyfriend. Obviously. Sorry, but there were crying children here and I was trying to finish my comment fast.

HI! I didnt have an interview fot the Removal of the Conditions. I had to go to the INFOPASS Appointment to my local office. The officer took the fingerprints, pictures and stamped my passport for one more year. I have received my Green Card in a 5 days after the INFOPASS Appointment.

If you going to have an interview ,i am sure you should receive your Card shortly after that., but it also depend on the Service Center you have filed with and how fast they are making the cards.

My Best Wishes. (F)

Sincerely.

HI! If the officer told you that you might be called for an interview second time ,it doesent actually mean that you will be called 2 time, well, you might be called but it will depend, you know... If you wouldnt like to be called fro an interview second time,i suggest to you to make sure that you have all the Necessary Evidence to file with the I-751 Petition. You should prove to the officer who is gonna look at your file that your marriage is contionious and bona finde and etc.., and thus the officer will consider your Approval without an interview.

So,just make sure that you have included enough of the supported documentation and dont forget about the pictures of you together and family pictures ,friends and you together and etc.... :star:

Best Wishes. (F)

Sincerely.
