Hi all

I came back after a vacation, and found in my mailbox a letter from NVC (dated Oct 14) that says my wife will have an interviiew at ISL embassy on Nov 3rd. It doesnt have any instructions for medical. Doesnt this seem like a short notice? My wife in Pak still hasnt received a interview notice. I have been able to track DHL, and it seems NVC forwarded my case to ISL embassy on OCT 19. Its still on its way.

So, even though my wife doesnt have the interview call letter in hand, can she call to schedule a medical in ISlamabad? Also, if worse come to worst, she doesnt get the interview letter, can I just scan and email her the notice I received from NVC about her interview? Thanks and best wishes to all...

Yes, you can scanned and email her visa interview letter. Once she get the scanned letter from you, she can setup a medical appointment. Try to keep the interview date as it is. Medical can be done in 2 hours and reports are available next day. So your wife should be okay. Scanned copy of letter are just fine. In case if someone asked, she can explain the whole story. I am sure she will be okay.

You can express mail your copy to her or have it scanned and emailed legible.
