Hi, its me again! :innocent:

I have been reading different things in the forums about how many co-sponsor you can have for the I-134 Affidavit of Support. How many can you have for the London U.S consulate?

I am the petitioner and I don't have an income at the moment to support my English fiance, so for co-sponsors I could have:

1) my mom which earns $19,000 for a household of 3 (including my fiance) and a owns her home (as an asset of more than $100,000) in Oregon where we will reside

and/or

2) my sister who earns $40,000 for a house hold of 2 (including my fiance) who lives in Kansas.

Can I have both? If not, which one? Even though my sister lives in Kansas, would she be the most acceptable co-sponsor when we will be residing with my mom in Oregon?

Also what should they and I write in Question No. 10 and 11 on form 1-134?

Thanks again for all your help!!! Emilyxx

No problem. Here are the questions, I would like to know the best way to answer for my affidavit (as the petitioner) and my co-sponers (my mom and/or sister). Do they say None?

10. I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following person(s). If none, state "None".

Name of Person

Relationship

Date submitted

11. I intend or do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state

for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

There is no point in submitting multiple co-sponsors for the I-134. You cannot add their income together to meet the requirements. Your best bet is to use a single co-sponsor whose income is comfortably over the poverty guideline for his/her household size including the fiancee being sponsored. From what you posted, option number 2—your sister—is the no-brainer choice.

In regards to how to fill out questions 10 and 11, I would generally direct you to the VJ example forms, but a recent thread states that London prefers these items to be completed differently. Have a look through today's I-134 threads and I suspect you'll find your answer.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Follow-up: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=223759 talks about the London consulate and what they want to see on question 11.

As for question 10, the answer is quite straightforward: you, the petitioner, would list your fiance here—you filed a visa petition for him, or you wouldn't have gotten to this point. Your co-sponsor will answer "None" unless she has in fact submitted a visa petition for someone else.
