You must submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

A. Statement from and officer of the bank or other financial institutions where you have deposits, identifying the following details regarding your account

1. Date account opened;

2. Total amount deposited for the past year; and

3. Present balance.

Here are some of my questions...

1. My bank will only print off the whole year’s worth of statements. They will not just put the deposit amounts on a piece of paper. Do I just have to send them huge stacks of statements?

2. Do I send info on my retirement accounts too (401K through work), or is this just my daily Checking, Savings, and Money Market accounts.

I tried to do some searches for this info, but I didn’t seem to find anything. If there is a topic devoted to the I-134 (Not just filling out the form) can someone please direct me to it. Thank you in advance for your help.

If your income is comfortably over 125% of the poverty guidelines (currently $18,212 for a household of 2 - you and your fiancee), you don't need to submit info on bank accounts or other assets at all.

I-134 questions are covered in the Embassy and Consulate Discussion, as that is the stage of the process where this form is required. Moving this thread there.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Asking for printouts of only your deposits is not common and this may be why they told you that they don't do it.

Did you inquire with the bank manager? The reason I ask is because when I went into my bank last year to request a printout of my past one years deposits, they did it without any problems. It just showed the deposits which they totaled up for me and then the bank manager stamped them with the bank stamp and signed them.

Since my petition got sent back to USCIS and was re-affirmed, I needed to do it again recently, only this time like you, they tried to give me complete statements and I told them no, only the deposits which they said couldn't be done. That is when I asked for the bank manager and she took care of it by showing these employees how to do it and it was done.
