it's a largish envelope.

Inside is 1) the passport, 2) a letter , 3) a large envelope that she's not to open.

The passport should have the visa stamp on it.

The letter contains info specific to her visa.

The large envelope contains the medical stuff, the I-129F, and all notes from various fed workers.

Sometimes the large envelope has a slash in one corner. Don't sweat the slash...

And when is she making the pond jump?

She will be here Teusday. I also got an email from the consulate about the time she picked up the visa saying that they apologized for the delay, but they "had been working on her visa for weeks." Hard to say whether they had actually been working on the visa for "weeks" or if it had just been sitting on a desk somewhere. I don't know what could take weeks to do.
