This is our first post in here. We have been following this forum over the last year and a half.

We have gotten good information that has helped us throughout our visa process.

Many of you are right in saying that once you get to the interview, there's nothing to fret about. But, in our case, we had our interview today and everything went well til we had the actual interview. We had to go back and sit around for another 2 hrs to get called back in and finally we were told that we were finally approved. That was the longest 2 hrs, as they had our future in their hands. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.

Congratulations!!!!!

Can I ask why they made you wait 2 hrs?

Congrats too! And yes, why did you guys have to wait for 2 hours??? I mean, I thought they would tell you once the interview finishes?

Finally married... and still married... ;)

The reason that we had to wait for a few hrs was because one of my court records was no longer on file at the courthouse, nor was it listed on my criminal check that I got through the RCMP. The court just sent me a letter stating that they regretted in not finding it plus I had to bring the letter just to show that I had that check done. The interviewer had to make sure that with all of this, that it still was ok for them to approve me.

Life Is Too Short,

Break The Rules, Forgive Quickly,

Kiss Slowly, Love Truly,

Laugh Uncontrollably,

And Never Regret Anything

That Made You Smile.

Life May Not Be The Party

We Hoped For,

But While We ' re Here, We Should Dance...

O great I just realized I had not purchased the "Signature on Delivery" option. I thought it was included b/c it had "Signature on Delivery?" Written on the back, but that was where they would put an additional sticker on. So now I have to go back tomorrow and have that added.

the good thing is the signature required sticker is just over a buck to get (I think mine was 1.58 if I remember right) so its not bad.

So... am I the only one who actually got the Regional Pack (large) sized envelope, going by the millimeter measurements?

I finally got one but had to go with the priority mailer to get the right size in mm, the others ones were like everyone else said, the 390x295 and they kept telling me theres nothing bigger.

If it wasn't for VJ...I wouldnt even have known to bring an envelope. I think CR-1's get different instructions from K-1's. Very very vague

I didn't do the signature on delivery option and when I tracked my package, it was sent yesterday... so you don't need the signature option. All went well without it.
