Hi everyone, I was just wondering on the I134 for the K1, it asks if I have stocks and bonds. I have a 403b account that I'm saving money for retirement in and I know that money is invested in the market, at least partially. Do I need to put that on the I134? How do I get a list of where those are invested? I know the value of it, but I have NO idea where it is invested. Thanks!

If you make enough money there is no need to list asset information.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Correct. Also retirement accounts get beat up pretty good in any kind of asset qualification. They need to be assets you can liquidate within one year, which means you need to deduct any penalties for early withdrawl and these can be substantial...up to 40%. Then the remainder is divided by 3 to get the income equivilent. Unless you need to use assets, just leave that part blank.

It is not important where the money is invested, you should be able to get statement of the value of the account, your company should give you this at least annually, you can use the last statement if needed.

moving to US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
