Ya - watch out - Cases sent electronically to GUZ have gotten FAST interview appointment dates - Suprises everybody when it happens, so far, this year.. I feel for the Montreal folk though - yikes...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks everyone.

I've called the NVC and provided them our email addresses and the operator sent the case to a supervisor to get the bills generated. :D

Like Darnell mentioned, you're in the perfect situation to try the pilot project for electronic processing (i.e.: no snail mail).

I'm going to be giving it a shot as well. It has the potential to speed things up by a couple weeks at least.

Hi Wyatt's Torch,

I'm definitely going to take advantage of the electronic filing option!!! Thanks Darnell for pointing it out since it was the first I had heard of it.

Thanks,

FF

Hey - I've updated the wiki page - have a read? http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...onic_Processing

Yes. People who were case complete in June just got interviews for November, to give you an idea of the backlog.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. I had the exact same situation as the OP - NVC received my case and generated a case # on Sep. 25, and I heard nothing for 26 days. Unlike the OP, but like the poster Magicfn1, I had immediately given the NVC operators both our email addresses, and had verified the emails were in the system and correct on subsequent calls. Finally, I got the DS-3032/AOS emails within a day of calling NVC to inquire about my case status a couple days in a row. I'd recommend calling and speaking with an NVC operator daily, and being polite but firm with your belief that the DS-3032/AOS bill generation is taking too long.

As other posters in this thread have alluded to, and I feel I must generalize, be very cautious about a lot of the advice on these forums, especially advice that is completely non-sequitur and irrelevant to your post. The reading comprehension and knowledge of many of the posters is very questionable. Cristeen is a diamond in the rough though, I'd follow her off a cliff :star::-*

Incidentally, my case # ended in "001" which means it was the first case entered in that day. I wonder if yours and Magicfn1's were the same (or similarly low numbers)? I have this theory.. that maybe my case file was processed first.. and 100 other case files stacked up on top of it.. and there it sat.. lonely at the bottom of the pile.. for over three weeks.. until some genius decided to pull from the bottom of the stack. :P
