i still didn't get it!

oh nat.. roger said, it woud have been better if we didn't go in so early.. he said the longer we waited, the more nervous he got.. i don't know how that would have helped if we went in right b4 11:30 and they called us at 12 tho?? LOL

[07/15/07 Met RG on vacation in Jamaica

07/27/09 He proposes on one of his visits here

08/07/09 We are married!!!!!

AOS from B2 visa

09/03/09 Completed medical.. all clear!!

09/21/09 Sent off I130, I485, I131, I765.. YAYYYYYY[/color]

09/23/09 package received

09/28/2009 all 4 NOA's printed (received on OCT 1ST)

09/30/09 checks cashed!

10/05/09 receive biometrics appt for 10/28/2009

10/13/09 walk in biometrics.. !

10/26/2009 receive interview letter for NOV 30th 11:30!!!! PRAISE GOD!

11/06/2009 receive advance parole papers.. no email, no updates beforehand..

11/16/2009 After 2 WEEKS of checking the mail thinking the EAD and AP come about the same time, we get the "card production ordered" email for the EAD.. better late than never.. thank you LORD!!!

11/19/2009 receive another email stating "card production ordered"

11/23/2009 receive EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/30/2009 bittersweet interview, but WE ARE APPROVED

12/02/09 social security card in mail

12/04/09 receive "welcome" letter in mail

So busy at work I'm only up to page 318...

guess what.. he got a job offer RIGHT as we left the interview!!! the voicemail said the found his resume on Careerbuilder and for him to come in for a typing test.. roger said.. uh.. typing.. cyaan do dat LOL.. aww dang.. we got to get you some typing tutorials LOL

That's awesome! And it reminds me to do the same. Steven used to use typing tutor software in JA, but hasn't since he got here.

good morning everybody!

congrats bunz..FINALLY a date, it will be here before you know it!

congrats to my2 also, and her first trip to JA as well, how special that must have been..

well our approval was quite bittersweet both roger and I agree.. we feel happy that we got approved, but kind of not happy because we feel the interview could have went a little better. We prepared for a onslaught of questions, had quizzed each other quite often, but our interviewer only asked a few questions to open up a dialogue.. I, making a living talking to people plus im a bit longwinded anyway, picked up on tha cue, I talked and talked and gave exampes... but Roger being so nervous and he's not much of a talker anyway, the words would not just come out! LOL i saw hum struggling and i wanted to help so bad but i didn't know if that would make things worse. i didnt want to look like i was coaching him.. will give more details in a bit..

Thanks be to God who has our end prepared for us despite our lack of wisdom, strength, charm or intellect.. I know for sure what he had put together no man shall separate.

Congratulations! That's so true what's meant for you no man can take away!

Well I've e-mailed the Embassy twice now for our interview date, still nothing yet. I want to pull my hair out but I know its all in God's time.
