I seem to remember it being three years worth, but how many W2's should my fiance send me to have at the interview to supplement the I134? And does it matter from what time frame the pay stubs are from? His paychecks are always the same, so as long as they are from fairly recently, it's ok? Thankyou!

Your right it is three and always the most current. OLD History doesn't tell the story of he being able to support you(LAUGHING).

If you have a couple of his current Pay stubs that is fine but really not needed they are looking a a yearly income to see if he is above the poverty rate.

Good luck and God Bless

The answer is specific to your consulate.... I provided one year because that is all the consuloate was interested in...

moving this thread to the consulate forum

To clarify - I am going through the Sydney Consulate.

Rosalie and David - Thankyou for your answer, and yes, of course we are going to show the returns for the years previous to this year. any other time frame wouldn't make sense.

Does the Sydney consulate require 3 years of US tax returns? I looked at their website and I only saw reference to the most recent year tax return. I'm trying to figure out if one year and pay stubs are enough.
